See this great infographic that shows why attendance is SO important! Did you know that our school misses out on almost $150,000 per year due to any student absence? That’s the equivalent of three full time salaries at school!
In addition to the financial impact, attendance is also incredibly important to our children's growth in academic and social learning. For more details on how attendance has a big impact on our community, check out this Monarch Memo for details of how attendance matters!
Unofficial attendance is taken at 8:00 AM (to determine tardies) and official attendance is taken at 10:00 AM.
To help us keep attendance up, please try to schedule any appointments after 10:00 am and check out your child after 10, so they can still be marked present for the day.
All attendance details can be seen in the abridged School Handbook.

FOM operates a uniform closet of FREE gently used uniforms that is available year round.
Families can "shop" during our uniform shopping events throughout the year, or anytime by asking at the front desk.
Families who would like to donate clean, gently used uniform clothing items to our closet, are always welcome to do so, simply by bringing them in to the front office.
You do not need to donate uniforms to take advantage of the free used uniforms available in the uniform closet.
-
Admission to Magnolia is determined by lottery process. For more details, visit the MMFA's application page. The lottery typically opens in February
Additional information about the post-lottery enrollment process can be found here.

We strive to offer individual and class pictures at Magnolia, every year.
Individual pictures and class pictures are sometimes taken at the same time in the fall, and sometimes class pictures are taken separately in the Spring.
Class pictures are always in uniform. Sometimes students have been able to wear street clothes on individual picture days.

Magnolia doesn’t officially celebrate holidays. For example, children will not dress up for Halloween.
However, your class may do their own celebrations, and you will be contacted by your guide with the details.
