Grown-Up Squads!

Squads are activities geared toward adult volunteers (parents/guardians OR Magnolia guides/staff). The Library Squad, and Fun Run Squads are a couple of examples.

Expectations

Availability

Not all Squads are active year-round, and in fact, some are not even present every year! They all depend on adult volunteers (just like you) to donate their time. If you’re interested in contributing your time to any of the below squads, or if you have a new idea you’d like to get going, please let us know.

Adult Volunteers

• Adult volunteers should come with a positive and collaborative attitude, ready to jump in and help where help is needed

• Have fun with the students (and your fellow grown-ups!) as they learn new skills, supporting their lows and highs

• Knowing and communicating your needs with the main squad contact(s) helps everybody know what resources are available, and what’s needed
